I'm not 19 years old. Can I participate in TRiO?

A: For those individuals not 19 years old, we review case by case. Please feel free to apply. We will notify you as soon as we can. 

I'm not a citizen or permanent resident, but I have documents supporting my legal residency. Can I apply for TRiO?

A: Yes!

Can I apply for TRiO when I'm a college student?
A: Yes! We can get a variety of benefits from our program. For instance, we help you navigate your educational resources, help you with financial aid applications, transfer to higher level school, prepare a resume and cover letter, shadow and search for jobs, and many more!

Can I apply for TRiO holding an international student visa?

A: Unfortunately, no. Sorry!

Does TRiO cover my tuition?

A: No! Instead, TRiO helps you find resources for you to cover your educational needs.

How can I find the workshops/courses that are right for me?

A: If you want to learn the different courses/workshops we offer, navigate to the courses or workshop tab under services. Before you can access a workshop or course, you have to register with us. In order to register, please click here. It routes you to the initial enrollment form. 

How would I assess my English knowledge before choosing a workshop/course?

A: Once you submit your initial application, we will contact you, and during the intake, which includes the test, we will assess your English knowledge. 

How do I submit my initial application for a course/workshop I want to take?

A: Please click here to submit your application. 

When should I apply?

A: We don't have any due dates. You are more than welcome to apply when you are ready. 

Do you provide Financial Aid?

A: No. We don't. However, we help you to apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships. 

Where should I send my application materials?

A: You submit your initial application online. We do the rest. 

Do I need to provide transcripts? 

A: No. We don't need any transcripts from you. 

How do I know when I registered for a workshop/course?

A: After submitting your initial application, one of our team members will contact you and help you finish the registration for a workshop/course. If you don't receive any phone or email within 3 business days, please email us or give us a call. 

Are there any prerequisites for a workshop/course?

A: Technically, no, but some of the workshops/courses required some basic knowledge. During the intake, we will assess your ability to take the workshop/course. Some computer courses required prerequisites. 

I'm an international student. Can I participate in TRiO?

A: No, in order to participate in TRiO, you should be a legal alien. 

I'm not 18 years old yet. Can I participate in TRiO?

A: Yes and No. It depends. You are more than welcome to apply. But for the cases where the applicant is under 18 years old, we would need to see if you have any special conditions. For instance, if there is no Talent Search in your area that you can benefit from, then we will serve you.

How much does it cost for me to participate in TRiO?

A: It's free because it is funded by the Department of Education.
