PARTNERSHIP

A friendship founded on business is better than a business founded on friendship. "John D. Rockefeller"

THANK YOU FOR CONDISERING US

Second Chance Education (SCE), a nonprofit organization founded in Sacramento region, is always looking for partnership and cooperation to offer a helping hand in education to the underserved and low-income population. At SCE, we see the world as a global partnership built to pool our resources together in order to provide a synergy of services, maximizing opportunities for everyone we serve.

Who are we? Our team consists of diverse researchers, grant writers, and educators from different cultures and languages. The diversity of nationalities, backgrounds, and cultures that the SCE staff represents (multilingual speakers of Farsi, Dari, German, Arabic, Turkish, Portuguese, Russian, Romanian, Ukrainian, Spanish languages) are bringing a wide array of perspectives to the table, leading to an increase in possibilities and a greater diverse population we can reach.

What do we do? We specialize in education, federal grant writing, APR, TRiO programming, and managing grants. Currently, we are writing multiple grant proposals. We serve adults and youth by helping them improving English language, enroll and get their GED or high school degree, finding financial resources, assisting in career counseling, prepare resume, cover letter, job and internship search, financial literacy, SMART goal strategy, test-taking strategies, etc. We also have ESL teachers with California Credentials who are Farsi, Dari, Arabic, German, Russian, and Portuguese speakers. Shortly we will add a “Translation Department” within our organization to provide interpreting and translation services in Farsi, Dari, Arabic, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, Romanian, Portuguese, and German.

Why collaborate and partner with us? Our partnership with you as a community-based organization has a multitude of positive impacts on our clients' social and professional outlook. We can be more effective in providing services and maximizing all parties' benefits if we collaborate with different organizations. We follow the codes of ethics when working with our organizational partners. Our partners' regulations, policies, and values are important to us. What we offer to our clients and your clients is supplemental and would add to what you have implemented already. Our goal is to maximize the effectiveness of our services, our partners' services, and increase our students’ retention, persistence, and graduation rate. We obligate ourselves to respect your organizational integrity and ethical values, and respect each of our partners' regulations and guidelines. We value our partnership at any level that comforts your organization, which would mutually benefit both organizations and clients. We also want to express that we are open to any agreement/contract/MOU or cooperation which impacts all parties' success.

How can we meet? (if you want): If you wish to meet and speak with us, we would like to invite you to a meeting to discuss the possible areas in which we can collaborate. Please contact us or schedule a meeting with us, here.
